The Cherry Tree in Jesmond

Andrea has recently been booked to perform at this fantastic restaurant on Monday 1st February. Over the past year or so The Cherry Tree has established a superb programme of live music, featuring some of the very best musicians in the North East. Coupled with an extensive and beautifully presented menu the venue offers a unique and memorable dining experience.
Andrea will be singing with a piano trio line up. The performance will be divided into two sets, with the first starting at approximately 7.30pm.

Public Performance

Laughing Jacks very rarely play public access gigs. It's difficult to recreate the atmosphere and presentation that the band works with at wedding bookings. Clients will occassionally ask if we can arrange for them to see the band in action at other people's weddings. In most cases this is very difficult to organise and most couples are understandably reluctant to have strangers visit their event.

In the meantime, there are regular opportunties to see the members of Laughing Jacks live in local venues: we have various "side" projects which keep us busy when we're not playing at weddings, the details of which are listed below. If you decide to come to any of these performances, it's worth bearing in mind that the typical wedding repertoire will not be played. However, we hope to see you when we're out and about...

Christmas Parties

Laughing Jacks are pleased to announce that they have again been hired to play at the Christmas Parties at St James Park. The 2008 run was very successful, so the band are looking forward to returning for Christmas 2009. The dates are:

The Andrea Pattison Band

Andrea is currently developing a new band playing country, blues and soul music. The band features renowned local guitarist Jim Hornsby as well as members of the Laughing Jacks team. This band will also feature some of Andrea and Jim's original music. www.myspace.com/singerandrea
